
The St. Christina School Advisory Committee is an organization, which act as an advisory board to the Principal. As outlined by the Archdiocese of Chicago Office of Catholic Education, its responsibilities are:
- To develop, formulate and adopt policies that will help St. Christina School reach its goals
- To act as the public relations arm of the School
- To review and advise on the annual School budget; including tuition rates
- To represent its constituency through open meetings
- To participate in evaluation processes that are required by the Office of Catholic Education
- To collaborate with the Pastor in hiring the Principal
- To collaborate in the implementation and monitoring of the School’s five-year plan
- To determine sources of funding
- To develop marketing strategies
School Advisory Committee meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 pm in the Parish Center. Please check the school calendar HERE to double check meeting dates. All parents/guardians are encouraged to attend.
2025 ST. CHRISTINA SCHOOL ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPLICATION - The St. Christina School Advisory Committee meets once a month to support the school’s leadership in maintaining and/or revising policy and procedure. Each member serves a four-year term. If you are interested in becoming a member, please fill out the form linked below and email it to stchristinasac@gmail.com or print and drop in the St. Christina school office in an envelope labeled School Advisory Committee by Monday, May 19, 2025. You must be a registered parishioner of St. Christina Parish to be eligible for the School Advisory Committee. Any application received after May 19 will not be considered. There are two open positions on the School Advisory Committee for the 2025-2026 school year. The winning candidates will be asked to attend the last SAC meeting of the year on Tuesday, June 3 at 7 pm.
If voting is necessary, the information you submit below will be summarized and printed in the St. Christina church bulletin during the week of May 25 and June 1. Voting will take place after all Sunday Masses on June 1 (8 am, 10:30 am, and 5 pm). All registered parishioners are eligible to vote.
