St. Christina School - Catholic Schools Week - Pictures
January 28 through February 2, 2018
The Fifth-Grade Science Classes proudly displayed their aliens during Catholic Schools Week.
It was a three-step project. First, after a study of the planets,
the students created a picture of what their aliens would look like and what planets they were from.
They then wrote descriptive essays about their aliens.
Finally, they made three-dimensional aliens and brought them to school for all to see.
It was a very interesting and creative group of aliens.
With Dr. Seuss as their muse, St. Christina staff, students and families
enjoyed a fun and spirited
Catholic Schools Week from January 28 through February 2, 2018.
The weeklong celebration included an open house, student/parent lunch,
teacher appreciation day, Minute to Win It games, the Super U Challenge, and a visit from
Congressman Dan Lipinski and Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic Schools Superintendent Dr. Jim Riggs.
Thank you to everyone who helped plan this wonderful week for our school community.
