February: A Heart-Warming Meal for Our Homebound - Picture
February 18-19, 2023

Thanks to the many volunteers who showed up to help prepare the first delectable homebound meal for 2023. The meal consisted of turkey vegetable soup, made from the turkey breast carcasses that were frozen after the Thanksgiving Meal (Waste Not)! The main course was delectable meatloaf accompanied by homemade mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and bread graciously donated by the Panera Day-End Dough-Nation program. Dessert was an individually wrapped chocolate cookie. Yum Yum.

Our volunteers also included Saint Christina youth who came out to help with the slicing and packaging.
