A True Summertime Country feast - This was a labor of love involving many generous people. The menu was oven roasted ham - scalloped potoatoes - fresh corn on the cob - garden salad - wonderful German rye bread (provided out our friends at the Baumann's Bakery). Dessert was the sweeted watemelon possible (provided by our friend Wayne Szabala of the Melon Source). All this food is made with love - it is very exciting to see the diversity of ages. Young cooks are being mentored by the more experienced. No job is too big or too small for this group. From purchasing the food - cooking - delivery - and to taking out the garbage and turning off the lights - these volunteers are extraordinary. A huge Thank You to all! God Bless!
