The Rite of Election for St. Christina Confirmation Students - Pictures

On September 27, 2015 at 10 am Mass, Sue Carter, the Coordinator of Religious Education, presented to Fr. Tom and the congregation ninety-three candidates who are preparing for their Confirmation on February 11 at 6 pm with Bishop Alberto Rojas.

This year Fr. Tom has incorporated the R.C.I.A. program with our St. Christina Confirmation class. Occasionally we will be presenting some of the RCIA rites, planned by Fr. Tom, to our Confirmandi. This step last week is called the Rite of Election. It is also called the enrollment of the names because as a pledge of fidelity the candidates inscribe their names in the book that lists those who have been chosen for initiation.
