Work Displayed at the Art Institute - Pictures

School Computer Lab

I presented student work at The Art Institute on May 5th at the Art Institute Teacher Curriculum Fair; this is my humanities themed year. I presented Japanese paintings from Grades 6, 7, and 8 and also a Powerpoint presentation using their Art Access site as the basis for artwork and research. They were very impressed and asked to use our digital artwork (used Paint software) for their Education Center art exhibit of student work.

These students will have work displayed at the Art Institute until July in the Modern Wing Education Center. This is quite an honor. Students from eighth grade are Jessica Howard, Alison Keating, and Kelly Sweeney. Students from seventh grade are Drew Walega and Claire Collevy. Sixth grade students are Ryan Smith, Jacob Schmitz, William Wagner, and Erin Larkin.
