School Fifth Grade Science Lab - Pictures

The science lab has been a new experience for our fifth-grade students this year. Many different FOSS science investigations have been performed. As the students began to study the Life Science component this third trimester, they learned about the organ systems. Students presented their own findings on an organ system of the human body. They also tested their sensory reaction time. Students constructed lung capacity bags to test their lung capacity. For a culminating activity, the students shared their scientific discoveries by sharing models with their younger classmates. It was certainly an engaging science experience.
