Kindergarten Class Helps to Set a New World Record - Pictures
Year 2011-2012

The students in Mrs. Budvitis’ kindergarten class participated in “Jumpstart’s Read for the Record.” This world-wide event encourages children to embrace reading. Over two million children around the world were reading the same book on the same day. This year’s book was Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney. The kindergarten students prepared for the story by drawing pictures of llamas tucked in their beds. The kindergarten students really loved the experience and the story too!
