St. Christina School - Sixth Graders Write to a Vietnam Veteran - Pictures

The Sixth Graders wrote letters to a Vietnam veteran recently featured on a local newscast honored as a hometown hero. In their letters they thanked him for his service to our nation. In turn, Mr. Wellens wrote them back, sharing details of his time as a young Marine in Vietnam. He was so impressed by their letters, cards, kind words, and patriotism that he donated one thousand dollars on behalf of their class to the Together We Build campaign.
