Secret in the Annex - After reading, discussing, and seeing the play, The Diary of Anne Frank, the eighth grade literature classes of Mrs. Baley hosted a talk show called “Secret in the Annex”. Some of the students dressed up as the characters and portrayed their feelings. The remainder of the class made up a series of questions to ask the characters. The characters did a fine job and the questions were very well written. Everyone became involved in the talk show. This activity was a fine culmination to our study of the play.

Seventh Graders Model Volcanic Eruptions - Mrs. Baley’s seventh-grade science classes have been working on their earth science presentations on plate tectonics, continental drift, mountains, faults, earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis. Aine McKillop and Alex Cipriani have demonstrated volcanic eruptions for their classmates through their homemade volcanoes.
