Balloon-Powered Race Cars - Pictures

The eighth grade science students of Mrs. Baley created balloon-powered race cars. They wanted their cars to have the maximum speed and go the greatest distance. In this lesson they incorporated Newton’s Laws of Motion. On race day they set up the track and watched each car travel. This was a great learning experience for everyone. There was excitement in the air as each car was raced.
