St. Christina School STEM Camp - Pictures
June 2017
This summer 2017, the St. Christina STEM Camp students entered the Science Lab each day excited and eager to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The scientists worked together as a team to build pipe lines. They also constructed and raced their own cars; made their own boats to float in a pool of water; and used their creativity and imaginations to create robots. After a discussion about earthquakes, they made seismic safe bridges. They certainly became engineers - building roller coasters, hovercrafts, and parachutes. And the fun did not stop there, as these young scientists studied their own fingerprints during a lesson on forensic science. As they left camp, they were reminded to look toward the sky on August 21 for a very historic event - the solar eclipse. We had an awesome time at STEM Camp!
