Full Option Science System (Foss) - Pictures
Year 2016- 2017

This year, St. Christina School implemented a Full Option Science System (Foss) for students in first through fifth grades. Through the FOSS Program, students utilize cognitive processing skills to discover science concepts.

The students have learned to develop and apply their inquiry and questioning abilities by performing a variety of hands-on investigations. The Foss Program not only provides an integration of Earth, Life and Physical Sciences, but also correlates Science with Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Along with each investigation, each student keeps an Interactive Science Notebook, which is a collection of his or her activities, labs and reflections.
