Seventh Grade Cameras - Pictures
Year 2011-2012
After a study of light, mirrors, and lenses, Mrs. Baley’s seventh grade science classes made their own pinhole cameras. A pinhole camera is a simple camera without a lens and with a tiny aperture. The seventh graders made these cameras from an effectively light-proof cereal box with a small hole in one side and wax paper as the film. Light from a scene passed through this single point and projected an inverted image onto the wax paper. The seventh grade scientists tested out their experiment and had great results.
