St. Christina School - Virtual Meeting with Novel Author - Pictures

On Thursday, January 21, 2021, the 5th graders were visited virtually via Zoom by local author Christie Sever. She introduced them to her latest historical fiction novel, Easter Eggs in the Mud. This story takes place in the Warsaw Ghetto in 1942. This wonderful novel is very similar to another story we read in class, Number the Stars, which took place in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1942.

Ms. Sever discussed the research and writing process and what inspired her to be a writer. Easter Eggs in the Mud and her other books can be found on the Children of the World Books Facebook page.
