Our event supports the Kevin Renderman Courageous Heart Fund, which operates in the honor and memory of Kevin. Sidelined by a brain tumor at 23 years old, Kevin applied his never-quit attitude to everyday life. He inspired countless people with his strength and courage. Kevin died January 30, 2015, but his spirit lives on in those who knew and loved him.
In his honor, we fund the Courageous Heart Scholarship, which is awarded annually to an eighth grader from St. Christina attending Marist High School. This award recipient models strength, courage, and compassion and a no-quit attitude, characteristics that Kevin had.
We also support organizations that provide services to persons with cancer or traumatic brain disorders including St. Xavier, Next Steps, Shirley Ryan Ability, Rescare, Christmas Without Cancer, and Mulliganeers. To date, over $140,000 has been awarded in scholarship money, along with over $50,000 given to other organizations.
This annual fund raising event is held to celebrate the life and legacy of Kevin Renderman. Come celebrate with us - CLICK HERE TO RESERVE AND SPONSOR
