Outreach - AA Meetings

------------------------------------------------

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership and we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sea, denomination, politics, organization or institution, and does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

The LZ-Step Program is to assist people who have a problem with alcohol. There are Alcoholics Anonymous meetings available at St. Christina Parish.

Please consult the weekly bulletin or call the Rectory at 773-779-7181 for more information.

Al-Anon Meeting - There is also a weekly Al-Anon meeting in the St. Barnabas Convent located at 10134 S. Longwood Drive, on Thursdays at 8 pm. Please use the rear entrance off parking lot. Al-Anon is for anyone with a family member or close friend whose life has been affected by the use of alcohol.
